Many questions went through my mind as I allege more about the character Bartleby. in that location was as well a character in this story who was a lawyer, his prognosticate was not mentioned. The big role in this story because he hired Bartleby to work with him. The questions that I had about this lawyer was wherefore did t his he put up with Bartleby. Bartleby seemed like a very characterless person. I wanted to know why Bartleby was representedas if he did not get a care in the world. The narrator describes Bartleby as being a penman. If Bartleby was a scrivener and the lawyer seems to know a scrivener when he sees one, why did he bypass Bartleby as being a scrivener.
