It is an image I have elaten in the lead when information about the America Civil War. The black and neat look-a worry is capturing the deceased passs lying on a battle theater after the meshing at Gettysburg in 1863. The shooter, Timothy H. OSullivan worked with the well-known photographer, Mathew Brady, to capture images of the Civil War. The reason why I was drawn to this particular photograph, however, is because of the emphasis placed on the pass lying on his back with his face upwards, pointing slightly towards the camera. His dead expression is very chilling. Ano ther thing that drew me to this photograph is that you can see in the distance, the abundance of dead bes scattered across the war stricken palm which added to the chilling mood of the photograph. This painting is save chilling to me, however it portrays a different perceive of risk of infection and struggle than the common sense of defeat that I got from the photograph of the decease caused by the Battle at Gettysburg. Here you can see there is a crew of men who bearing to be stuck or throw onto an ice structure. There are men who have been thrown rancid their ship or boat, who go down injure in the snow along with various items that were thrown off the ship as well.
